Empowering Women in Global Competition.

Erasmus+’ DIGIPRO was the starting point for my journey in managing impactful projects.

Helena Arévalo

Project Manager

Participating in the Erasmus+ project “Digipro: Digital Tools for Digital Challenges” was an important step in my career as a project manager. It was my first experience in this field, where I managed our organisation’s role in addressing cyberbullying and online hate speech.

The project allowed me to use my creativity and experience with children, which was very rewarding. Seeing how our activities engaged children and encouraged discussions was especially meaningful. Managing the challenges of deadlines and resources taught me essential skills. The project still influences my work, motivating me to continue focusing on meaninful initiatives.

Empowered to Empower: My Journey with the PEPA Project

Ana Isabel Herranz

Project Manager

Participating in the Erasmus+ "PEPA Project" has been a truly impactful experience for me.

As someone passionate about social inclusion, I joined this project to support migrant women in developing crucial skills and building confidence. Through PEPA, I learned not only about effective mentoring techniques but also how to foster a sense of belonging within communities. Working closely with women from different backgrounds has enriched my understanding of their unique challenges and resilience.

“When you support family business, you support a dream"

Maya Milova

Executive Director of CCI Vratsa

Our success story is with the project "Support Family Business” (SFaB) - a two-year ERASMUS+ Programme project.

The project offers training to the personnel and members of family business (FB). We decided to participate in it as the FB is of crucial importance for the national economy and in Bulgaria we don't have such a long history in FB.

One of the most interesting experience I gained from the project was getting acquainted with the good practices in FB in the partners' countries.

During the implementation of the project I've learned a lot of new things concerning FB - how to manage the succession, the role of woman in FB, family governance mechanisms and family business strategy.

The interactions with the organizations involved in the project were very beneficial for me.

Looking to the future, I am sure I will apply the knowledge and skills gained in SFaB project in elaboration of other projects and trainings for family business members and personnel.

From my professional experience with Erasmus projects I can assure you that the participation in such projects provides valuable knowledge and memorable moments. It also connects people from diverse backgrounds and build bridges among different cultures.

Stay open, embrace the experience, and connect with others.

Elizabeth Nentcheva

Communication expert

I participated in the Erasmus+ EYEWEAR project, supporting young women entrepreneurs. As part of MVIdee, I co-designed workshops and podcasts, aiming to inspire and empower others. I joined because I’m passionate about promoting female entrepreneurship.

A highlight was hosting a podcast in La Réunion, sharing stories of inspiring women. One challenge was managing multiple tasks, but teamwork and good planning helped.

This project boosted my leadership skills and opened new career opportunities. Collaborating with organizations like iEL was enriching, and I’ll definitely use what I’ve learned in the future.

My advice: stay open, embrace the experience, and connect with others.

Erasmus+’ BIBLIOLINGUA makes your mind flourish!

Carolina Carotta

Project manager

Joining in the Erasmus+ project “BiblioLingua: European Classics adapted for secondary school students” was so interesting for me as a project manager. The project aims to offer adapted and accessible readings thanks to e-books digital technology. It allowed me to deepen my knowledge of some European novels, which I love, and to practically see in schools how accessibility is essential.

The well-balanced partnership was an added value of the project since each organization brought a contribution to the whole.

This project still inspires my daily work, both for the content and for the organization of tasks.

We overcome problems working in a good structured team.

Tanya Slavcheva

Expert

First project I have participated was in Slovenia, M-Learn Project, under Erasmus+, which focuses on innovative use of mentoring for social change.

It was not only great experience, but also very educational and creative. Since then participating in Erasmus+ projects is my priority and I am very thankful to be able to be part of it. The collaboration between participants in all the projects I have participated since then has always been on a very high level, the atmosphere is friendly, encouraging and emphatic and for me all the interactions are very special, memorable and educational.

I think we just have to keep preparing new projects and to involve more and more people, cause it is spectacular not only for the learners, but also for the teachers.
