In 2024, the “Languages of the World” Conference took on a truly international dimension, bringing together educators, youth workers, and cultural experts in the inspiring city of Konya, Turkey.
Organized in partnership between EDENSOL, Let Her In, and several local institutions, this year’s gathering placed a spotlight on how languages can serve as engines for equality, social innovation, and intercultural understanding.

Guided by the theme “Languages that Transform”, the conference invited participants to explore the many ways language education contributes to building more inclusive communities.

Over three days, the program featured:

• Inspiring keynote talks on linguistic diversity and cultural identity.

• Debates and panels examining how language shapes access, equity, and gender equality.

• A dynamic European project fair, where organizations shared tools and best practices for multilingual education.

• Cultural performances and interactive exhibits that celebrated the voices and traditions of Turkey and the Mediterranean region.

The event not only showcased innovative ideas but also strengthened cross-border cooperation among educators and networks across Europe.
After four successful editions, the conference stands out as a key reference point for education, inclusion, and intercultural collaboration in Europe, reaffirming that languages have the power to connect, empower, and transform.
